Is the V3 really well balanced?and does it really weigh 4 1/2 lbs?

I doubt it as it is well balanced---My problem is my body wears out before my arm does---NO you won't need a swingy thing !

My arm was more tired when I swung an Ace 250. The V3 is very well balanced You will not need any bungee cord.

It is very well balanced, Best Whites Balanced detector I have ever owned,And I have only bought Whites since 1962---You should have tried some of the arm killers they had out then !

I have a torn rotator cuff and it isn't bothering it any more since dropping a couple pounds and some shoulder exersize that was low impact. Balance is perfect on the XLT, DFX and now the V3. (It's just the way they roll!) I picked up my machine, from the early seventies, and weight plus poor ergos was a real shocker. The machine had a battery pack issue (unfixable without some big mods) and gave it away!
