...Im thinking I would REALLY like to get together with a 5-string bluegrass banjo player -me and my 6-string flat-top;and play all the classics:Foggy Mountain
Breakdown,Dueling Banjos(I bought the soundtrack album from the movie Deliverance...STILL my all-time favorite to play on my acoustic-I use it as a finger warm-up when I start playing);Buffalo Gals,Old Joe Clark,Eight More Miles to Louisville-all TIMELESS CLASSICS-I had an argument with a friend of mine years ago,who was CERTAIN that ugly kid in Deliverance was playing that banjo, along with Ronny Cox,who WAS playing his guitar-I knew that kid wasn't playing it,he found out years later I was right...that movie wasnt very nice, but if I could buy it and edit out everything else and keep that banjo/guitar footage,I would wear it out from re-playing it over and over....:super::clap::laugh:

Got one sitting in my den :) Over the years I've played around with it and I think I could be pretty good. The problem is, everytime I started progressing on the banjo and went back to the guitar, I found my fingerpicking was messed up. Decided to pass up on the 5 string :)
