Is there a big difference between Gamma and Platinum?

One difference I do know of is that the coil connector on the Gamma is a "screw on" type while the coil plug on the Platinum is a "push in" type. The Platinum is built on the Omega S-rod platform. There may be other differences but I am not sure. There is a video on youtube about the Platinum which shows it to be a pretty decent machine.

Platinum does not ID in all metal mode like the Gamma. And I think the GB on the Platinum is manual. Not a great deal of difference though, and I'd guess the depth to be about the same.

the GB to me is kinda half an half that is half manual an half automatic no nob u turn it on hold it out at about 2 ft from the ground an put in in all mental mod am hod pinpoint an it goes into crownd grab mod then u ether let it down to 2 inches from the ground an Wait for it to beep or u can pump it till the numbers stay the same
