Is there a tone selection on the Safari

DirtAngler

New member
Does the Safari allow tone choices or is is just that one setting?

Hi DirtAngler,

Yes there are 2 Tone choices in Safari

1. Conductive
2. Ferrous

In Conductive sounds ferrous materials can sound with a high tone
In Ferrous sounds iron can sound with a low one.

Safari has 4 Modes - two of those utilise Conductive Sounds and two have Ferrous Sounds

Coins - Conductive
Coin & Jewelery - Conductive
Relic - Ferrous
All Metal - Ferrous

These sounds can also be <> 'cross swapped' to allow Conductive sounds in the Ferrous Modes and Ferrous sounds in the Conductive Modes.

Hope this helps

Good Hunting

Des: Thanks for correcting me and I even have Andy's book too. Guess you could say I'm not too good on the technical end of things. Truly believe cross swapping (saving) is one of the very best features on the Safari. It really helps when coin shooting, at least it does for me.
