Is there anybody here that can pass on how to do a trim pot adjustment on the sensitivity?

I got the Omega back from the local dealer today, however, on a phone to Teknetics in the US about an hour ago, confirmed that the sensitivity on my unit is set too high. So if someone is able to pass on how to adjust it, it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
Mick Evans.
(I could send to the factory, but the freight costs are going to mean that the warranty doesn't have much value.)

I suspect that there was miscommunication. There is no sensitivity adjustment inside the machine, all there is, is the sensitivity control knob on the front panel. If the machine's too noisy, turn the knob counterclockwise until the noise goes away.

Thanks for the reply Dave. In that case, I'll just send it back. It still does it when the sensitivity is set to zero. I was just hoping to avoid sending it away again, as the freight cost is mounting and this time it will not be a small cost.
