Is this a good place to hunt

That is the Amelia research vessel in the backround just off the beach in Melbourne Beach, Florida (Ponce Deleon Park). Spent about 2 hours here and found a few pull tabs HH, Larry (Palm Bay Pirate)

Are your photos turning out smaller on the forum, than what you expected, because I am. I was beginning to wonder if I had to increase the size, but yours are turning out the same size as mine, so wonder if the forum has restricted the size of the photos. It's got me baffled. We have a city called Melbourne here in Victoria. The beach can be a great place to hunt. If you hear of a large get together, like community groups picnicing on a day, that's the day to hit the beach, right after they leave. You'll find a heap of coins has been lost, and in the water, possibly a few rings too. Also, try the low tide line, where the water meets the edge of the sand, and high up on the sand where people are likely to sit and sunbake.

You know what? If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Ponce de Leon some kind of explorer from hundreds of years ago? If I were you, I'd do a little research on that, and if he was around that beach at any time, you might try and go back there for another look. I know we had a guy named Cabrillo out here in San Diego, and there's some places where he hung out or did things. I need to do some of my own research. Beachguy.
