Went out today and found the MUDD sign. I know this is a sign of a serial coin popper... Now Mud you told me you would stay on your own side of the lake from now on because the ground on this side of the lake is too hard. :detecting: 1 Canadian quarter, looks like a copper bracelet? dog tag, car and I love you ring. Smashing hunt on a summer like day. Thanks for looking and HH... Happy Trails....Z

Serial coin poppers, cladstabbers, turf sweepers, chipkickers, descend upon a sleepy Wisconsin town to rid the parks of pennys. Like a school of hungry stingrays cruising the flats for shrimp, they scour and probe, concentrating on the tiniest peep, endlessly wandering and mumbling, softly whispering or humming a tune in time with the swing. Like some sort of crazy human metronome they swing and beep, swing and beep, hover, kneel, and pop, hover, kneel, and pop! What kind of mental disorder causes them to do this day after day? It must be part of the innate need of mankind to search, explore, adventure...Mud

Wow Mud you have the makings of a very scary movie going: zombies swinging, beeping, kneeling, and popping. Is this the end of the world as we know it? Are the mad men in charge? Maybe you should contact Steven Spielberg?
You asked about ring dig to coin count. Well I had to sit down and figure ring to ring count with coins in between. Now this is from one ring to another. Ring 1 ::: 349 coins found before ring number 2. That is not a gold ring. That is just the next ring find. I guess now you know why I just go out looking for coins. On the F70 if you are Zeeking you are digging 30-31, 60-61, 70-72, 80-84. These produce the best finds in coins. This is at 3" range. Another thing about F70 listen for the coin tone. It is very clear. Anything broken or jumpy is not worth looking at. When pinpointing the F70 gets excited and makes a high squeal tone when it is a coin. Mud the 6" coil is almost the only coil I use. I have the standard and the 11" coils. The 11" is in the box in the closet. The standard in on a lower rod in the trunk.
Thanks for reading and HH...Happy Trails.....Z

LOL nice post

Terra thanks for kind words. My posts aren't meant to be serious. Just goofing around. Thanks again.
Wvrick when I dig 50 or more coins from the ground I think that is a great hunt. That is up and down a lot of times for this relic. I think it is news worthy for CNN to look at but they ignore me. So guess what, I bother you guys with me finds...:clapping: Thanks for reply and reading. Happy Trails.....Z
