Is this coil good or bad??

Hi, newbie here, but 30+ year detectorist. Just bought an older Tiger Shark which will only detect metals within an inch or so of the coil. Here's the resistance readings on the coil wires at the plug (can't see any pin numbers on plug so these will be numbered clockwise with blank pin space at 12:00; 2-4=21.3 ohms, 3-4= .06ohms, 3-2= 21.5 ohms. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know if it's the coil or not, but my Tiger Shark does much better than that. You may be headed for a send off to Tesoro, but call first and discuss the problem with Rusty.

Thanks for the reply barber Bill. I won't be able to send it back to Tesoro, as I have already taken the board out of the box, and I am going to be re-assembling with new waterproof connectors (as attached).
So, I'm on my own here.I have bought a new Umax 8" doughnut coil too, so if this coil is bad, I'm ready to make the switch.

I bought these off EBAY direct from a Chinese manufacturer (lm4871n). They seem to be really nice quality, and the cable connector side has an ingenious self adjusting feature which should fit on any size coil wire. Here's the EBAY info;
