Is this Explorer Forum Or the SE??

The SE is an Explorer just as is the EX2 and XS. Unless there is another forum for the SE then this is the appropriate place to discuss the SE.

I agree with you Cody, but let's not beat a dead horse to death!! A lot of the posts on the new SE on this forum have been repetitive. I'm sure we all want to find out just how good this machine is so let's all give those a chance that now own the SE some time for some good hands on detecting with them and let them start posting all their great finds. Then we all can decide if we want to spend the money and have this hot new Minelab SE............:)

Yes, and I agree but like it or not the Explorer11 is going to slowly fade away. It is a great detector just as are so many others that have come and gone. Some day the SE is going to be go the way of the others.

But, I do agree with you and realize that there are a lot more users that want to talk about settings and the latest finds. I completely agree with that and was thinking of this today and getting away from the technical posts which just about always create problems. Most users are not interested in how many dimples there are in a golf ball or how many angles can dance on the head of a pin.

and have the XS II because of a great deal!! I'm very comfortable with both and enjoy reading about the SE, but not willing to pay that much for a detector that I'm not sure will make that much difference. I hunt by sound and go slow anyways, and have no problem digging signals I know is junk, but just has that sound, recovery speed might be nice, but am satisfied with what I've got!

How many Angels can dance on the head of a pin? Sorry couldn't,t resist and having fun with an SE here in Arizona where the heat is gone and we are just getting started....

It is always the same when a new beeper comes out and as said above it's the new toy syndrome, but Alas we all learn a thing or two

Good hunting, Bill
