I saw that same ad a couple years ago and posed the same question on another forum. Turns out one of the guys on that forum had gotten ahold of one of those units and took it apart to find nothing more than a couple of magnets if memory serves me right. And when he and another detectorist tried it out with their VLF machines their was no change in performance! Let the buyer beware.

My finds went up after I glued a small plastic frog to the top of my search-coil!

Don't forget to check out the DEEP6 detector it detects 2 1/2ft deep!!!!!!!!!
