Isaiah got to get out of the hospital for a few hours today on a pass to go with Dad to church. It was pretty exciting to go out and see some new people and do something different.
This afternoon he finished up his Star Wars Marathon that he had started on Friday. He had never seen Episodes 4-6 so he has used some of his free time to watch them. I could tell he had the morning off of his therapies because he was wiggling around in his bed like a worm, at one point he had worked his way under his blankets and under his pillows and was giggling that the nurse couldn't see him. Time for him to get back to work tomorrow and wear off some of that energy.
He is looking great and working hard at all his therapies so that he can get back up north and play outside. He's talking about going fishing this summer and riding his bike so he has his goals that he is working towards and that can be a great motivator.
