Issue opening E-Trac pattern files.

Hi, i have downloaded several pattern files from http://www.thebeepgoeson.com/index_downloads.asp i go to open them on my computer and they will not open, what software do i need to open them and install them on my metal detector? thanks for your time.

So far, to my knowledge, the only way to view the patterns on anything other than the E-trac, is on a pc that has the program that comes with the Etrac

(Etrac Xchange is a program usually supplied with the E-trac by way of a cd rom) I am unaware of where it can be downloaded from on the www.

Xchange needs to be installed onto your pc first and then you can save and see on the pc screen, what can be be adjusted, but all adjustments and alterations can only be done through the E-trac.

Did you install the software that comes with the Etrac?

The downloaded files will not open with any programs except the E-Trac software that comes with the machine. Open the program with your E-trac software and it will open with no problems then you can upload it to your machine.
