I've been talking, and talking about getting the SNIPER coil.
Well Thursday I placed my order for it and today my I get a text message from my lovely wife that my package has arrived.
It didn't take me long to put it on. Just had some inside fun and it's great. But I never realized it was so small but small is good.
But I can see that thing getting into spots where my other coils couldn't, and those trashy areas it going to be a dream.

I got excited when I found my first quarter with it at sensitivity 3 right up next to a large metal post. You can tilt it AWAY from the post and get really close (Thanks, John). I got even more excited when I ran it along a sidewalk edge and found coins like crazy. I REALLY got excited when I found several coins together and it was correctly id'ing them. l really got excited when I went back over some of my already searched areas and coins started popping up everywhere. I was like you, kinda worried about the size of the coil until I made this experiment: I took a coin and with all the speed I could muster tried to whip it so fast that it wouldn't give a signal=it just got LOUDER! In other words I didn't have to dilly-dally around just because of it's size. Then I couldn't beleive the depth at sensitivity 4 that I was getting with that little bugar! In my high trash areas (lots of tabs) I have the custom mode set up for a slight variation of the coins mode-I simply added the foil notch to be included. This way I can work the trash and have 3 chances to find a ring- FOIL, NICKEL, AND SQUARE TAB. I guess now I'll have to get the 150 'cause the sniper coil's on my 250 for good!
