Was really zoned in today using the White's TDI ... only time I use it is here in this bad dirt.
Here is my good finds for the three days ... nine buttons and an Indianhead "fatty"penny dated 186?. Will have to clean it up more to read the last number. I didn't keep the iron fragments that were used as shrapnel ... primarily pieces of old damaged cut up horse shoes used by the Confederates in their cannons.
It has been a lot of fun detecting with Vernon, Elson, Craig and Keith.
Keith just came into my room here at the Culpeper Sleezy Sleeper Motel to show me the gold gilt Union "C" Calvery button he dug today ... WOW ... that's got to be the best find of our group.
Next hunt starts Friday so we have a couple days to practice ... or play poker.
