It was "tee off time" at 2 P.M at the beach today

This is it, friends ...my meager finds for today!!

I had a lot of time to pray in between "hits" .. that's for sure.....as I always do ....not praying to find treasures....just praying in general

It was nice at the beach....quiet, relaxing...just the way I like it...

Hank, my avid golfing husband was happy with the finds....of course!

p.s. one of those pennies is a "wheatie"..illegible date....well, some days are better than others:cry:

A bad day of detecting is better than a good day washing dishes. Was going to say better than a good day of blowing snow...but..I had a good day of blowing snow...not only for me but for 3 of my neighbors. Just did it because it was the right thing to do. We had a heavy snow fall over night and I felt they needed a helping hand. Sherry jokingly says I have a snowblowing ministry.

Neighbor across the street are low income and have health problems...they have doctors and nurses come visit from time to time and they have had an ambulance show up a few times. Just feel it is important to keep the drive and walkway clear...just in case of an emergency. I would hate to have to see emergency medical people struggling to get a gurnie in and out through snow banks covering the driveway and sidewalk.
They are unable to hand shovel their area. I ask nothing for doing the snowblowing. In fact, God gave me the snowblower for free...found it along side of a road for the trashman to haul off. I spent no money fixing it to get it to run. So what is one to do but give freely as I received freely. It is good to do right.

Congrats on getting out. The beaches on our lake are still under ice.

You are a kind, generous man, Pete.
God bless you always!

I do pray for finds sometimes. And I always add - not my will but yours so I don't sound like I want everything !! Good day at the beach for you, quiet relaxing time, Steve in so az

Didn't mean to mislead anyone...

I often pray for a ring .... even two or three......"Please God, a ring....any ring...just let me find a ring---if it is your will"

But for some reason....today's prayers were for "thanks" and" forgiveness"

In retrospect.. I think that I should have added prayers for some better finds

I like finding golf balls while detecting! Tell Hank that Mike always come back with more golf balls than he starts with when out golfing! It is the treasure hunter in me! :)

Probably, but I tell you, I spotted that shocking orange golf ball from way across the other side of the beach....just floatin' atop the water! Too bad I can't find gold rings floatin' like that:lmfao:

Ever see the Seinfeld show on TV where George pretends to be a Marine Biologist to impress some woman and then has to save a whale that has its blow hole plugged by a Titleist golf ball - one of many that Kramer had been knocking into the ocean?

I've found gold balls in playground. I wonder if some guy who lives across the street isn't knocking them into the playground in an attempt to see how close he can get to the kids. Would be a mean guy if he did that...probably the same guy who out on a driving range would try to hit the guy inside the vehicle that gathers up the balls on the driving range.

Yeah, Pete...I saw that one several times ..it is my all -time favorite sequence....I laugh so hard every time I see it.

Here is a pic of my husband ,Hank trying to outdo Kramer......
p.s. there were no whales around here at the time of this pic, but now there are plenty of broken windows!

and pick up a weed whipper that looks much like a golf club....he can clean out those BIG weeds in the area you want to detect in.

It'll never happen, Pete - not unless the weed whipper has the name "pitching wedge" on it::cool: trust me on this one
