It's a Merc kind of Morning

Went out to a world war two deserted army air force base this morning to see if I could scare up any older coins. Detected for about an hour and finally got a nice little 12-44 repeating signal. The area is pure sand so diggin was pretty quick. At about 3" got a 1938 Merc. I know for a fact this area has been detected hundreds of times. Seems odd that all of these detectorists would miss this lone Mercury dime. Any way after the Merc I continued on and found a 1926 and 1952 wheat. Going to check out the rest of the area tomorrow.

Good luck on tomorrows hunt.
