and was very apologetic on what had transpired up to this point.. I was guaranteed my detector would be worked on first thing Monday morning with a report to follow that afternoon... I won't do no bashing yet, but its been one h*ll of a roller coaster ride.

Well I guess a call from the prez was supposed to impress you, but a $600 detector should work as it should out of the box. I'm anxious to see what transpires from here. The dealer should have swapped it out, no questions asked, from the start.

First Off, I don't impress easily.... Secondly, the new detector sent from the dealer could by chance have the same issues as the first one if they were produced closely in succession... if that would be the case.. then what, have a 3rd then a 4th new unit sent out.... NO WAY.. Fix what i have, make it rite.. I have the patience of Jobe!!.

Later. Mark

I agree with you there, but if I got a second with the same issues as the first, I can assure you there wouldn't be a third or a fourth. There would be a refund.

Did you get your machine back yet?
