Took the Vaquero with stock coil to the park today , pretty much digging up every repeatable signal . I had the sens turned to the end of the red line and minimum disc . I only found two coins and an ox shoe . One of the buffalos has a very readable date .Both nickles were 5 to 6 inches deep .

Great finds ! That one is very readable, The last one I found was and in a wood chip tot lot and was bent. I think in it was in a tree that they made the chips with. Good luck and happy hunting!

This park has gotten pretty stingy . I've been concentrating on mole runs . The moles move dirt and coins around . The thinking is deep coins might be nudged shallower and coins on edge might be turned .
