It's Garrett's time, but will they heed the call?

I want to see Garrett back on the throne. Seems like Whites and Minelab have taken steps to bring the latest in technology to the newer designs of their detectors. Even if Garrett upgraded their chips or computer in the GTI 2500 or something it would be great. I've always loved the GTI series, however the depth of Garrett's machines in discriminate mode is lacking when compared to the newest detectors. The feeling of Garrett being left behind technology has not given me the warm fuzzies nor inclined my cold hard cash to go there way in the last several years. Listen up Garrett, find what your audience wants and create it. You will be blessed, you have some of the best built machines in the world. However since the advent of the Explorer, it has embarrassed most brands in the coin hunting arena. We want a Garrett that will go 12 inches easy on a dime in discriminate mode instead of struggling at 6".
We want Garrett to sparkle and shine. It's your turn to come up with something like the GTI in terms of innovation that will blow the socks off of us all.

With the new chip update they did how much better is the 2500 now than say 5 years ago. I just bought one 2 weeks ago. And have own a lot of machines and ecxept for the ace 250 this is the only Garrett I have ever used. And so far only 1 hunt I really like it.

And you didn't have to buy a brand new unit to get that upgrade feature either like a lot of other brands. Thank-You Garrett!
