This is probably going to be the last weekend for me to get out and detect..so I lined up 2 old farm houses for the weekend. One built in the 1850s and the owner said another guy came through years back that was really into it, and said he was surprised he only found a couple pennys. Hope my AT Pro is up to the challenge tomorrow. Sunday I have a beautiful old farm with a big yard,that was built in 1820. The sweet lady that owns it said, "I know there is a gold earring out there some where,cause I lost it. I haven't found any gold yet, so I hope this last hunt turns into a great one! I will report if it's a good weekend! Good luck to everyone else this weekend too, it's gonna be nice one.
 
Yeah, it'll be a good one! :thumbup: Just be thinking of poor Johnny sitting around in the house in 40 below, and thank your lucky stars your digging in the dirt!

I was suprised I didn't find much, some clad a couple toy cars, a 1909 wheat and a 1883 V nickel...no silver at all. there is a lot of ground to cover and I'll be going back in the spring, unless I can possibly squeeze an hour or two here and there if work and weather cooperate. I definately will be back next year after I get a ctx 3030 after the holidays..Just need to make a bunch of calls and get the best deal I can on a package deal. I think I missed (almost sure) I missed some good targets because my AT Pro has been having some issues and needs to back for service. These old houses have a lot of junk nail etc. Im sure there has to be something left there. I found out both houses were hunted before in the past though.
