Thank you Bart, You made my weekend. I haven't been this excited to get out detecting all year.Watch out bottle caps your ass is mine.
Thank you Big Boys Hobbies.

Yes Thanks a lot XP Deus I could have lived the rest of my life with this hunk of crap in my yard. 88 nice smooth tone, right side of the horse shoe, Basic 1
Apparently I need to work on the settings or swing the CTX with the other hand.

The one thing you will notice about the Deus is it can't say no to any round metal. What you have there is very normal. To be honest I have dug many round objects that are quite interesting. But wait until you find those hidden coins. The round metal targets are worth it.

?? You found a relic......

CTX would not find that?

First few hours and your already complaining....Wow maybe you need to return it.....

Did I read your posts wrong? Maybe I did.....

Jim

Geez I was kidding. Get a grip

That Big round Iron.....Ugghhhh. a 4 khz program may ID that better bud.I keep one in my Line up to double check things. What is that thing anyways?Looks like a handle/crank maybe for like a table saw for example...Turn it to raise and lower the blade.Have fun with the New Unit ..I know you will! HH Jim

Woo Hooo! I found a piece of small metal yesterday that has a slight curved shape to it and it hit right around in the 80's if I remember right. Looks like it could be a fragment from a cannon ball. Thing is.......came from my back yard and I do not recall a Civil War battle in this area. However, just a slight walk through the woods is a iron ore mine the Confederates used to mine iron during the Civil War. Wish I had a way to get it identified!

BTW- Congrats buddy on the new detector! I was quite happy too to get mine!

Welcome to the world of the Deus. Iding iron is not its strongest suit.

The Deus is a great machine but don't sell the CTX yet. If you enjoy accurate ids the CTX will always win.

I found some good stuff with my Deus but no silver.Bought the CTX silver count started growing. Sold the Deus.

Keep us updated
