hey dobbie! cant tell if its a "terrible pic" or not, its just...REAL LITTLE!!!!!!;)

I'll take 40 over 80 any day!

 you guys are all so funny....yes its a real little pic. i hate it so i made it little but i posted it because i like the desert with the mountains in the background. that road is part of good ole route 66 out in arizona on your way to calico where the wild donkeys rule the town....:) thanks for your posts and YES I AM A WIMP

Mid-50's yesterday with wind chill around 40 something and light rain off and on. I'd trade you! I love the heat. I have arthritis and don't do well in cold and damp. You'd think I'd wise up and move someday.

Dobbie, that is a very nice pic of you....and the background scenery is so beautiful...

I prefer the cooler weather also ..having been raised in Northern Ct.,

but I would be willing to tolerate heat just to be able to view that scene "in person"

i dont live near there. that pic was when my fam and I went on vacation to the grand canyon, zion park and bryce canyon. that was a long ways out of the way for a pit stop but it was well worth it. the mules are direct decendants from the mules they used to mine silver. they are wild but used to people. my youngest daughter was only 2 then and she wore a bright oarnge pooh bear dress. one of the mules thought she was a walking carrot and followed behind her nibbling her dress.

I can't remember, but you must be in the Southwest? Is that you in the pic on your avatar? It looks like desert climate to me.
what a terrible pic of me....cant even see me lol its for the scenery anyways..
post up the original pic, so we can see you

Beautiful scenery in the background and one of God's beautiful people in the foreground.
