It's March now...I'm ready to go

On the 1st of March I put the batteries back in my detector even though there is still a foot of snow out there and not a spot of dirt to be seen. Now I'm standing by the back door with the detector under my arm, and the pro pointer strapped to my belt. Just wishing. It' s supposed to be near 40 by this time next week. Sigh.

Same weather forecast here in Michigan. But I know the ground will still be frozen. Gotta go and get one of those large AA battery packs from my local store.

Might be a way to beat the cabin fever and who knows, maybe find a gold ring in the snow :)

Old Ranger...have to share this...you mentioned practicing on your rug...I got my new Ace 350 just a week ago on my birthday (I have a sweet wife)...first thing I did was put batteries in it and out I went to the front room...just so you know...if one's house is built on a concrete slap...there is A LOT of rebar in the slab foundation. LOL I was pretty confused there for a little bit. Ha Ha Ha...my bad.

Hope all you members get to do some dirt fishing real soon. Hope your knee surgery was successful wag-jr and you make a full recovery. HH.
