It's that time again!!!........ Christmas Gift Exchange.......

For the past several years here we have done a Gift Exchange drawinjg at Christmas time. How it is done......
All of those here on the forum that would like to take part simply let me know that you want to be included.
I then make a list of those that want to take part. At a specified date we close the list so we can do the drawing.
I then draw names for each one on the list. I then send you the name and address of the person you send a gift to for Christmas.
All names are drawn completely random. (No Requests Please) It is only fair if it is random.
You then get a gift usually around $10 or so and send it to your person about two weeks before Christmas.
Include your name at that time so that they know who sent it and who to thank.
So just post under this post if you wish to be included. I will post this a couple times so we don't miss anyone.
If you wish to not be included just don't reply. :)

Well, if I participated and was as slow as I am sending something to you, Mike, then they might receive their Chrismas Gift from me by Easter or Fourth of July! Finally got some wrapping tape, as I couldn't find what I have HIDDEN! :lol:

Went yesterday to bank, post office and Wal-Mart and wore myself out so much that I was so tired last night that I had to push myself to put the cold foods in frig and freezer! Wanted to go :detecting: today with the schools closed but I don't think I can do it.......couldn't hardly breath just going down an embankment from the bank to the post office door and back! Beautiful weather and nice for hunting but ????? Started my new pain pill last night (Darvocet) with a generic name! Did sleep longer but my neck was killing me, as I didn't wake to adjust my neck pillow during the night!
So, do things while you are younger and able to because no one truly knows what will happen as the years go by!

I am thankful for the years God has given me and for the years I could detect and enjoy His beautiful creations which some people, who are blind or disabled have not seen or done! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for Your mercy and grace upon me and my Sisters and Brothers in Christ! Amen! :angel: God Bless! Ma Betty

Sign up for the Christmas drawing and I'll send the gift for whoever's name you get. I'll take care of it for you and then whoever gets your name can send you a gift. How about that??

Thank you dirtdigginlady and that is awfully kind of you and such a blessing and if you want a blessing then go ahead and do it but it really isn't necessary! You are too kind!

The problem with me is I don't go shopping very often....only for meds and food or home supplies! If I bought a gift for someone, I probably would have a difficult time in getting it wrapped and sent! I just find it is getting harder and harder to remember and get things done!

I am taking Vit D now in pill form and take it once a week, but I only have 4 in the bottle so will have to get them refilled next month! When I see the dr on the 24th, I'm going to ask him why only 4 at a time?? Four cost me over $12.00, so they are not cheap! I took one pain killer last night and will take another one tonight----they make a person sleepy and I've been sleepy all day! I hope they will help me to feel better and soon! I have a bottle of 100 of them with no refill but I won't be taking more than one a night, if I can help it,as they are addictive and have a lot of side affects and also the Vit D of 50,000 IU per pill! Their cost was $28 plus but I think I can handle that, if BO doesn't pull the rug out from under us older folks for good! I could tell from the way those in the pharmacy were acting that something is up that will affect them, too! Oh well, we have Jesus and He will see His people through whatever trials and struggles we may face! Amen! God Bless! Ma Betty
 
Yep, I'm "in" again this Christmas. I agree with Paul! Please have everyone to list some things they are interested in, or would like to have, so that it isn't so difficult to come up with a gift. I thought I would NEVER come up with something to send Bryce last year! I stress too much over stuff like this.

Thank you so much dirtdigginlady for your generosity and blessing to me! Just one more thing that I don't have to make sure I get done! I took another pain pill last night and awoke one time and then went back to sleep! I slept fairly well and I don't ache as much now, so I will see what happens after taking a few more at night for easing my hurting and to help me sleep! It was even cloudy today and that's when I really, really ache and feel bad! I Praise God and Thank Jesus, for whatever way I am being helped, for God did give drs the wisdom to help their patients! I know it would be better by a miracle healing but I will take feeling better from the dr's too! Jehovah God is Love, Mercy and Grace! Amen!
