ITS THAT TIME AGAIN:inlove:MATERS ARE COMING IN:inlove:

Looking good!! Do you start them in a hothouse? We just put 4 plants out yesterday...can't wait until they start coming in.

Yummy! Yum, Yum! Sure do like fresh home-grown maters. Dad ate sugar on his but Cliff and I always used salt! Also raw cucumbers are good eaten too! Now, here is what you can do (when you have an abundance) bubble wrap each mater, pack them in a sturdy box and mail them to Cliff and me! Just kidding! Mom usually had ripe tomatoes by the 4th of July on the farm. She had a hot bed that she used to early start her plants! Cliff and I planted, gathered and helped can all kinds of food stuff on the farm! God Bless! Betty

We have a couple of golf ball size green ones. We put out 14 plants though.

Well, the birds like them too! Just plant enough for them to eat also! If they ate the plants instead of the maters than that is awful....they should wait for the produce to come and ripen! God Bless! Betty

We have a big garden, but our maters are not as far along as yours. You are lucky to have ripe maters this early! We have some about the diameter of a baseball, but they haven't started turning yet. Nothing like a BLT with fresh garden maters!!

Just got a new soup recipe today! :) Believe it or not we have a freeze warning tonight for the upper part of the lower penninsula!

Good for you! Ours aren't ready just yet. :-( Nothing like a home grown mater!

Lisa
