Went out today for a couple hours and found 2 rings , a 10K and a .925. I hunted the same freshwater lake I normally do. I used the 10X14 mono because I wanted to hunt as much area as I could before it got to dark outside. I will have all day to hunt the lake this Saturday.

I got that Infinium LS back when it came out and added different seach coils for it over time and finally got that 10"x14" mono about a year ago to complete my collection of search coils for it. Man, that shoulda been the first search coil that I got for it. The depth is just amazing and it's so lightweight I can swing for hours with little fatigue. I can hardly wait to hit the beach after Labor Day now that we're back on the coast.

That's the same coil (10"x14" mono) that I am using now. I find it easier to distinguish bobby pins more easily then my smaller mono coil. It should be the one that comes with the detector, with the 8" mono or 10"x14" DD as an accessory.

The 10X14 mono is very easy to use. I agree, it should be the standard coil for the Infinium. I do like the easy pinpointing characteristic of the 8" mono, but not enough to switch it out for the 10X14 mono.
