Hello all PI Forum folks. I've been lurking here on and off for a while, but I haven't read all the old posts-- so excuse me if this has been discussed.
This Missouri snow/ice has kept me in the house too long and I've been thinking too much (dangerous for me). I would like to look for larger objects in shallow streams by attaching one of 40" coils to the bottom of my fiberglass canoe or tow the coil.
The only choices seem to be the J.W.Fisher Pulse 8X with towable coil or something like the Pulse Star with 40"x40" coil. The Pulse Star is too pricey. Does anybody have any experience with the J.W.Fisher units?
I have a Fisher Impulse, so I understand some about PI. I also use a Minelab Explorer 5", 10.5", and 15" coils. I also have (but don't use much) a White's 5900 with 3,6,8,9.5,15" coils.
