James, Got to meet Mr. Franklin at the school today

Rick(ND)

I had a little time this afternoon and the wife wanted to go detecting, so we went back to the school we were at Monday.
Got a 1897 IH the first signal as soon as I went up the hill to the flat area. Wife got a Wheaties with her MXT too down where I started yesterday, then everything went quiet for a while until I got the wrestling metal on the hill and I went down where you got the merc and tried it for a while and got Mr. Franklin right by the new sidewalk down there, then got a merc and some new coins. Wife just got the one Wheaties while we were there for about hour and a half plus some new coins..
Not too bad of a hour and a half in a well worked area. The IH I thought was a new zinc penny as it was less then 2 inches deep and the half was about 3 inches deep and think whoever worked this though they were junk or new coins.

Looks as if you and James are extremely competitive and have been into Mr. Chile's honey hole for coins instead of jewelry.

I guess I should have worked the area more since I missed out finding the Franklin Half. One of these days I will find a Franklin. Congrat's on your finds Rick! You never know what is under your coil unless you dig it. Good Luck and HH on your next outing!

If someone missed them, it makes one wonder how they swing their coil, I mean do they overlap enough or at all. Great finds.
