Sibling rivalry, even in the most traditional of homes, can be bad enough. But in this mix, it turned into a festering brew, for in it were ingredients such as hatred and jealousy and favoritism and pride that led, eventually, to disaster.

The brothers of Joseph were rough and tough and handled things their own way when riled up when their family was wronged or with jealousy! Just like today when one child is esteemed above another, it will cause jealosy and many problems in the family and among the siblings! They were always ready to go to war and defend their honor, families and land! They sure didn't listen to their father Jacob and follow his leading so the blessings of God would keep on being with them! Sin begets sin and they had plenty of it! May God give His Childrens' families peace that passes all understanding and give us godly wisdom to walk upon the right path in Jesus' glorious and wondrous light daily! Amen! Ma Betty
