I'm not a fan of 'lectric cookin at all but am very happy for ya none-the-less.

I jist got us a "new" cook top also. Of course it's a used one that works on propane and it only cost me a Grant
Now i jist gotta build me an island with a warmin drawer,a work area and prep sink to mount it in and a kitchen around it

It'll be two years come Oct. since we moved in and began.
Cold in the winter bud is an understatement. Bein built in 1830 it doesn't have any insulation nor does it have anywhere to put any with the type of construction it is. We have 7 fireplaces and use 3 of 'em so far. I'll tell ya tho. It aint the fireplaces that keeps ya warm here tho it's runnin up and down all day and night to keep 'em goin that keeps ya warm
We had a set back last summer when my wife Janet had her heart surgery but we're gittin back into the swing of it. I'm shootin for havin the bathroom (with Rays expert instruction on the dry wall  ) finished by the end of the month and the kitchen finsished for thanksgivin. It's difficult to stay on task because the fire damaged things in such a way that in order to accomplish one thing i first have to accomplish 5 others and they themselves each lead to five others.Sure is educational tho. :nerd:
It's sure been a laborious task not to mention trying due to my health issues but i'm lovin it. :D
Some day i'll make a post with the story and the pics.
