Yesterday My CZ 20 with the 8 inch coil came home from Fisher after being repaired. Just had to take it out for a test drive this morning. Spent 3 hours turning over the bottom in shallow water from 1 foot to 4 foot deep.

The repaired machine seems to be working sat except it did not find me any stones. Only that little piece of glass in the 925.

Can't complain with the 5 14K rings it did suck up. Collected a bit of clad and other debris as well.

Fisher is indeed supporting the repair of older, no warranty, CZ's. They did a fine job on this one though it was a bit expensive. Still, I can't live without my CZ 20 8". I like the 10.5 inch but this one I love.

Way to go!! Wish you could come here to Okinawa and we could really clean up like there!
I just bought a CZ-20 on ebay,,,I really wanted one after having two Impulse and doing well with those machines. Like the way they are built!
Can I ask what the repair was? and about how much was it? My two impulse have never had any problems so far and not sure about my new CZ-20 that was bought in 2004 or 5 and will be here soon.
