Junk, Silver and Gold Omega

pitcher

New member
Hit a park close to home this morning found these three rings, some clad and a bunch of junk.
The class ring is a 2007 from a High School close by so Im pretty sure I can find who lost it.

Q-1.. Which search coil were you using?

Q-2.. Do you remember the settings used?

Q-3.. Which Tone ID option did you use, and which do you prefer most of the time?

Q-4.. Many jewelry hunters seem to expect gold and silver, and quality-type rings and such to read in a 'normal' range as they don't want junk. Do you recall the TID and especially VDI read-outs? That might help them to appreciate the need to recover a lot of otherwise questionable signals.

Q-5.. Will you leave a few good spots for me on my next trip to Utah? Especially if you luck upon some tempting old-area renovation!

Best of luck locating the class ring owner, and continued success on your next trips afield.

Monte.

Coil - 11DD

Disc - 12

Sens - 82 was the max I could use

GB - 70

3 - tone, like 4 better but just to much trash.

VID - silver ring 85-86 jumpy
Junk ring 80 high tone
Class ring 57 to 64 real jumpy almost did not dig it but the tone was soild.

I still have a spot for when you hit Utah, saving it until you get here, bring all your coils I think we will need them.......lol

One other thing Monte I want buy the 10 " DD coil, maybe trade in the concentric towards it.

Thanks
Pitcher
