Just a few old things....

Just some items not posted before, the 1824 LC I just posted at function site, but any Ideas what those two things are one is some kind of buckle or clip....the other looks like it attaches to something round..... then there is the token with a whole in the middle, all I can read is on one side saying it has no value, the other side is just to green and pitted...the 1836 LC was found at a reaserch area in which land was granted to a certain group and they were to build and live and work...so I drove around and low and behold....they built houses all over this area....so I pulled over and hit a small patch of woods left between 2 homes...not very big but big enough to have a little privacy with out getting kicked out...and 1/2 hour later right in the middle was this LC....My day was made, I was happy.....need to search this area better next spring. 1700's place.......should be interesting.

The rusted item that fit's something round is a belt fed machine gun ammunition clip. It holds one round
to the next in the belt. The other item looks to be a Suspender Buckle.
Thats my take on it. :minelab:

100% correct the rusted item is called a "link" and was used to hold a 7.62mm round as stated by bill, If there was a Machine gun used on this site you should find one or two more, if not it means someone has droped it there.
