expert at this stuff and it's been a while since I dusted off the Mighty Minelab Explorer XS and Explorer 2 but I'm about to now since I own the new Tundra which will bring me to a neighborhood near you :ninja:

If I can't swing a Minelab then I won't swing a detector at all, simply put :minelab:, here's a small taste and I mean small taste of some of my coin finds with the Minelab Explorer XS and Explorer 2, These are finds from eight different states, found silver in all of them, found three large cents in three of them, even found stuff where Minelab is not suppose to

Now I ain't one to start a bar room fight but hey, I've done well with Minelab in eight different states, that's eight different hunting conditions but the Explorer has always shine, look at some of my finds and tell me that I just got lucky, ground that was covered by Whites and Fisher and the Green Machine :lmfao:

Hello General,

I have also done very well out here in the west with my Minelab Explorer II.

I have two White's XLT detectors. They paid for themselves and my Explorer II.

I've had the Explorer II for five years now.

I know that I get more depth with the Minelab.

If I'm just coin shooting, in a park or a school to add to my savings account for new detector
purchases, I use an XLT. It's fast stable and with the Sunray probe, it's very efficient.

When I'm detecting private property, where I'll only get one chance to get it right, I only trust
my Explorer II. I also have a Sunray probe for the Explorer II, the regular coil, the smaller coil,
and the W.O.T.

The W.O.T. is a fantastic coil, but it can't be used everywhere.

Yes, my detecting arm and shoulder are significantly larger than the other side's arm and shoulder.

I know you didn't mean to start any contentious communication.

It's just that everyone has his/her favorite brand and model.

For some people it's a serious issue, at the same relative intensity level as politics and religion.

On top of that, all things being equal, the skill of the individual who is using a particular detector
plays an important role in the success or lack thereof, in digging superior targets.

I had a student several years ago with a very wise father who told him," It's not the arrow. It's the
brave."

I enjoy your posts.

Congratulations on your weight loss and the new chariot.

Respectfully,

The Nutty Teacher
