Just a hunch here but....

I just got my 11" coil and after doing some testing I would venture to say the XP is gonna sell a whole lot more of the Deus this year!!

Although I'm new to the Deus mix, I think your statement is spot on Jeff. Because I was sold on the Deus before they offered the 11" coil option. Now it's a slam dunk...

Thank you XP!

Sounds like you're getting a noticeable depth difference. Still waiting on mine, but there's still a lot of snow to melt yet. I'm sure I'll have it by "swinging" time.

I have only done some quick indoor air tests and the first thing I noticed is the 11 is picking up more interference inside. Now some may think that's a bad thing but not really. Set at the same sensitivity I was getting at least 2" more depth.

I think this coil is going to be the "Game changer" for XP. They will need to produce many more machines this year than they did last year.

These are the same words I've heard somewhere else and are the reason I ordered the coil. "It's a game changer, a must have."

I think I must be going crazy. I just finished shoveling two patches of snow off of different sections of my lawn so that if we do start getting more warm days like today, I will soon be able to take the Deus outside for a test run. Call the guys in the white coats!!!

:rofl: I have a hunting buddie and we are talking about trying to find some bare ground today and tomorrow!! Crazy is in the house!!

LOL! It's getting really bad!

Chiming in on Jeff's interference comment, I concur. I learned with the Fisher F75se that the extra power means EMI noise when set too high, but YOU get to choose where too high is. Most machines are power capped so to speak, and they won't let you go to full throttle. The Deus has solved the main EMI source, the cable from coil to control box by eliminating it. The new tech design improvements over the 13 inch, I am very enthusiastic about the new coil and the decision to allow substituting it at no extra cost couldn't have come at a better time! Now I need buyer for my yesterday's best tech so I can enjoy today and tomorrow's!
