Just a little coin poppin' this morning!!

Since I am an early riser and BCM is not, I headed out at first light to do a little coin poppin' while she snoozed. I first fueled up on some biscuits, sausage and gravy with a side of hash browns and then headed over to the local park. The ground is so freakin' hard right now, that I was just using a probe and poppin' em up!! I played for about an hour and a half and then the sun decided it was time for me to head back home to the AC. What a wimp, right?? Anyway, here's what the ATP/5 x8 coil/Amphibian 'phones rig and the detecting gods allowed me today. Not much, but some decent battery money!! The pocket knife is totally roached. The orange coin just to the right of the quarters is a Canadian penny. John, have you been down here in Texas trying to pirate our loot??

Looks like you had fun. Too bad that those old pocket knives always come out a mess. It's the same for me up here. Ironicly, I have found late 1700's knives from the fur trade in much better condition.

All that matters is you got out and had some relaxing time Had to put my Vacation time off from the first week of Sept to the second week of Oct but I plan on doing a lot of searching that week and I turn 60 yrs old that week too so who knows maybe there will be another silver in the works of Oct 9th to make my Day

Way to pop 'em out! John, I think you have been planting stuff in Texas.
