Hi,

I'm just doing a test upload to see if I can post pics here. ...and how large and clear they will appear....
Nikon COOLPIX camera ( just a small one that fits in your shirt pocket )
I used the 'macro' mode so the flash would not 'wash out' any detail.

any comments?

Ok.ok.I was wondering how to get those nice close sharp pictures.I have to read up a little more on the digital camera forum.Your pictures look nice and sharp.

thanks for your comments,

the 'macro' mode allows you... to get a closer focus... and turns the flash off.
To get enough light, I placed them on a windowsill and let the sun light the coin / ring.

I also ran the photos through photoshop to do a crop and bring the 'levels' up just a bit ( brighten slightly )

but using macro is the biggest aspect to close..clean pics.

another example(s)....

Your sizing is great.clicking on the pics brings up the size to a blown up pic well without being to big.
