In my area there are no local dealers that sell Minelab products. If I buy out of state I avoid the taxes and they will ship for free usually anyway. Although I would prefer to buy local.....taxes can kill. And respectfully I know some of you guys are loyal to your dealer and that is not a bad thing, but if price is a concern it is just a thought to help save money for maybe that extra coil or something else you have in mind. You can still "feel" the product local. I know this might upset some people out there, but I feel with all the dang taxes we pay now, why not be smart??
