just bought a NOS 1236x2

i found my 1236-x2 at backwoods detectors and it was NIB for 300.00 shipped. keep checking around and you might get lucky and find a new one. i don't think my 1236 has any extras with it.
i'm also trying to buy a nice fisher 1220-x pro with the 3 3/4" coil and 8" coil. i'll know by the end of the week end if the guy is going to sell it to me. i remember the first hunt with my new 1220-x
back around 1980 or so. i found 2 walking liberty half dollars, a standing liberty quarter and a merc that first trip out with it. ya just gotta love those old fisher beep and dig machines !!!

Just sent Bill an email to see if he has any 1236's. I must have called or emailed 50 dealers so far with no luck. I really like the idea you can chest mount these for fresh water wading.

have you tried richard from backwoods i know joe dirt 1 got one from him and if you do find one mr bill has all the coils and even a fisher probe brand new in the box he even has the very rare 6 x 10" eliptical coil new

I HAD A FEW ERRANDS TO RUN TO GET THE CAR READY B4 OUR VACATION. PUT THE DETECTOR IN THE CAR FOR A COUPLE STOPS. 1ST A BASEBALL FIELD FOR 1 QUARTER & A FEW DIMES--ALL CLAD. 2ND STOP AFTER A TIRE PATCH JOB I SAW SEVERAL SOCCER FIELDS BY A PARK--IN THE GOALIE END BY THE FILLER SAND FOUND A1950-D SILVER QUARTER IN 1 INCH OF TOP SOIL--THAT GOT MY EYES TO OPEN--ALONG W/OTHER CLAD--BUT A QUICK FIND IN 30 MINUTES B4 THE BATTERIES FINALLY PLAYED OUT AFTER ABOUT 65 HOURS DETECTIN TIME. BUT A OVERALL GOOD DAY 65 DEGREES OUTSIDE--PERFECT IN HOUSTON, TEXAS WEATHER--STILL COULD ANYONE HELP ME FIND THE WEBSITE TO MR. BILL? TRYING TO FIND A 5 INCH COIL.
