Just curious. Are there any after market coils for the GTP and GTI detectors?

I don't know about the GTP, but EXcelerator makes a 5" double"D" coil for the GTI series which I own, use and love. I've dug quarters a foot down in wet mulch at the tot lots with it.

EXcelerator use to make an 18" search coil for the GTI series, but I don't think they make it anymore. Anyway, buddy, if you and I both had the 18" EXcelerator for our GTI's we'd probably wind up shakin' hands some day through the holes we'd dig usin' it!

Happy Hunting!:)

Thanks for that. I'll try a google search for EXcelerator and De tech coils and see what shows up. It'd be interesting to see if other folk have seen other coils around.

Most of those coils are made right in your back yard in OZ. Kellyco carries them. Email JW ( John White ) at Kellycodetectors.com

You piqued my interest the Bill. I looked into it and finally found a write up by Andy Sabisch on the Kellyco website. He wrote up on the Excelerator coils. He said that they are made by Detech in Bulgeria. i wish they were made here as I'd easily be able to buy one. I may put an order into Kellyco soon and try out the 14in DD.
Coiltek are the local coil makers here. I'll have a look and see if they make any for Garrett's, but I doubt it as they started out from Minelab.

One I've been looking for is the older elliptical from the GTA serties. Pretty sure it has s different connector on it, but the frequency is the same. Id like to give that a whirl on the 1350.
