Just Curious.....How Many Land Hunt Only, Beach Hunt Only Or Do Both? :usaflag::ausflag::canadaflag::ukflag::csflag::garrett:

Because the ATX Series can be used for water hunting too, it opens up a whole new territory for some. Yet, some just stick to land hunting simply because they have no interest for water hunting or just don't have any water within a reasonable driving distance.

And with a username like WaterWalker, you need to ask?

I did use the ATX two days ago to locate a neighbor's electrical box that was underground somewhere near his outdoor lamp post. Hey, it worked! - I had no doubt it would.

The ProSwing 45 sure makes the ATX a machine I can swing all day on the wet sand. Before the PS45, about 30 minutes was all my arm could hold up to. In the water, there is NO problem, it is weightless but the water's resistance does help keep my arm in shape for side to side, swinging motion.

PS: when you get up from your nap, the snow will be melted. Try this afternoon, if you do not have to go to work.

Unfortunately, it snowed until 17:00 hrs. Thick ice on the windshield this morning. Fortunately, the temp. is supposed to go up to 46 degees, but rain with thundershowers for later today! So what exacly is global warming?

Hey John ... Global Warming for Southern California is summer and drought all year long. Global Warming for you guys in Canada is winter cold and snow all year. You may be required to change hobbies as the climate changes :)

The scientists are predicting that the Pacific Ocean will warm up some more, giving Edmonton warmer, and shorter winters, and as we are on the leeward side of the Rocky Mountain, we should get more precipitation. But.......that all remains to be seen.

TOO much global warming and you may have beach front property. Think of the possibilities for detecting!

I hunt both John, depending on the season one more than the other.

Prefer land when relic hunting, but for gold jewelry water is the main source.
