thinking about my two precious pets, "Kubush" and "Princess" that Hank and I had to "put to sleep" last summer...one month apart...I still cry sometimes when I see this pic...aren't they cute? I took this pic just after they had their baths in their "above ground pool"

Thank you for looking.

shaggy and wet, but I bet they liked the water! :) Remember the good times!
Prayers to lift your spirits are on the way!

Thank you , Mike

I have lost a lot of pets over the years, cats, dogs and birds. One never thinks they are so attached to a pet until something happens. My last dog, King, a Jack Russell terrior that looked like Snoopy when I brought him home with his little head sticking up out of my shirt, lived with me for 10 years. Miss him to this day - more so than my x-wives (one was my mate for 18.5 years the other for 7+). Gee, now I am sad too.

I thought I would try to cheer you up. Well, as you see, I know the pain. Our pets loved us probably more than we show our love for God many times. Sure would be nice to see the pets all again sometime but setting my sights more of seeing Jesus face to face and wanting so much to here "Well done good and faithful servant, come".

Thank you for those comforting words, Pete.

My current little dog "Jakkie" is a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle mix

Yes, I want very much to see Jesus and hear Him say the same words to me " Well done, good and faithful servant. Come"

growing up we never had a pet. I can remember my Mom & Dad saying they (pets) keep you from going and doing things. They would say "look at uncle Jack and aunt Norm, they always have to go to let the dog out."
My wife had 2 dogs but that was before I met her.
For some reson my wife and I started talking about dog. Then we started talking to peope who camp with dogs ( we do alot of camping ) long store, we now have a dog. "mini" the Miniature Schnauzer. When we got her I said. "no people food and no dogs on the bed!!!!! well after a long 2 or 3 days I gave her a small bit of people food. I have even been known if no one is around and looking to let mini take a nap with me on the people bed.
They sure have a way of getting into your heart.
heres a picture of Mini when she was only 1 looking out the window for deer. she is almost 2 now.

That is a cute pic! thank you for sharing.

Yes, pets sure have a way of training their masters..

Our dog "rules the roost"..I don't know how this ever happened...it was an insidious onset; it must have been his eyes...you know how they look at you when they want something...and they don't give up until we give in....

"Jakkie took over a day at a time..

Last August 24th we had to put our beloved shih tzu;Rocky to sleep-My wife just came upon a picture we had of him-It HURTS;to be sure...Have you ever heard the story of the Rainbow Bridge??Its somewhere on the 'Web-it says your pet;when it dies, goes to the Rainbow Bridge this side of Heaven, and waits for you there till the day you die,and then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together to go and meet the Creator...I have to tell you-If anyone can read this story on that website and not shed a tear over a beloved deceased pet, they are MUCH stronger than I....
