I have had my GT since 2006. I first started using the sovereign series with an Xs2a, that I had in the late 90's. I was just transferring some old pics to my pic. Hope you dont mind me posting old news.

1877 and 1877seated Dimes, park relics,1884 Silver Dollar and a 1944 gold ring while water hunting with the GT, a King George copper, a 1857 flying eagle cent, and that big Silver Dollar as I found it in the scoop.
If you know what you are doing the Sovereign GT can be even more versatile thatn it is being doubling as a fresh water wading machine. Put the whole control box inside of an empty wonder bread bag. Seal the end with an elastic and electrical tape. Put the control box (wrapped in the plastic bag) inside of the Sovereign Hip mount bag. Hang it around your kneck with the strap that comes with the hipmount bag. You can keep this getup inside your hip waders up against your chest. It works great! The Sovereign is my main inland machine as well and I do not use a meter. Tones is the way to go you must become a "Sovereign Whisperer".

Super nice finds Jason! It doesn't matter if you found them five years ago or twenty years ago.... you still found them metal detecting. I have yet to find a seated coin, silver dollar, and flying eagle cent but they are on my list....Thanks for sharing the pics!

Ditto on the finds....They are great. I've got a lot of catching up to do in the coin arena,
