Got the coil today decided to try it out after work. Went to colonial spot I have been seaching for a couple months.Have dug alot of coppers from this site, but heres one I missed. It was close to a tree trunk my bigger coils missed it. It was about 5-6 inches deep 1822 Large Cent

Nice! I'm kicking around the idea of getting a smaller coil....

I'm able to run my d2 up to 15 quite a bit depending on location but I have some trashy areas that I'd like the smaller coil for. Soon!!!

I am going to have to get my D2 checked, I used it at the Blue and Gray Relic Hunt and it was worthless

NICE! Another coin we don't see much of on the west coast. When I test drive a V3 it had a 5.3 on it. Nice stable and deep coil for it's size.

I had my V3 coil coupon all filled out for the 5.3 and changed it to the Super 12 at the last minute. The 12 is probaby not the best choice for the first 2nd coil but with the coupon you save a lot more on it.

I am about to order mine, so I am thrilled about your find. IT is very encouraging!

Good luck with the coil!
Neil

You guys slay me with the early finds! (Nice find!) We may find more silver dollars, out west here, but...nothing like early copper. I can't even dream about finding it! Heres to ya!!!

Here are some more, found about half of them with the V and the others with MXT before I bought the V. An assortment of King George coppers ,Large Cents ,Reales, Seated Quarter, seated !/2 dime, Three cent piece, And a Nova Constellatio copper all found at same spot
