Just got back from the doctors office, she sees me every four months and .......

year and just because someone in your family hasn't died from it in the past does not make you safe from getting the cancer :blink:

Cancer has no limits or where it decides to show up and who it decides to grab this time around, it just shows up and kills.

Nose bleeds are a sign of a break down in the blood system, that's what my doctor told me and I have to trust her because she knows her stuff and that's why she wants more test, she sees something or wouldn't demand the test, I put my fate in her hands because that's what she does and went to school for all those years, but if you boneheads can show me differnet then I'll hear you out but like your familys my family has never had that problem either but my doctor says it doesn't make a difference, cancer is cancer and will always show up when you least think it won't and I kinda believe her ;)
 
Just tell them you don't want anything for Pain---Then tell them to go slow and it wont hurt---If they go to fast then it would hurt---I never wanted to bother any one by having to ask them to drive me home ! You aren't a Wust are you ? Just be a man---You don't have pain medicine when you have Fillings do you ? I have had lots of fillings done with No Novocaine !
 
You will have a very sore butt before the test and you will hate green jello! The equipment they use today is a lot smaller than what they used 25 years ago. The tube they sent up your butt was the size of a water hose, now it is just a little thicker than a pen. The test itself does not hurt and they will put you into a semi-sleep. After the test you will fart worse than a bull!
 
or if you are having trouble with your teeth. There are many reasons for nose bleeds. Wait until you get your test results back before you start to worry.
 
Her husband died of Colon cancer at 40 years old, so needless to say there was no way I was talking my way out of one. Colonoscopys are a MUST as soon as you turn 50. Then every 5 years thereafter. The stuff you have to drink in that gallon container is the worst. The procedure is nothing you will remember, they use Propophol in an IV which puts you to sleep. You wake up without any of the normal Anastasia side effects an hour later ready to go home. Don't play with cancer, early detection is the key.
