Just got my Deus today

Bought a used Deus with all the trimmings and it came today. I love the size of the stock coil. I can see me getting the 11 inch coil soon for my dry sand excursions.

Quick question for anyone who can answer ( and it's probably been answered before so I apologize asking again).

If I want to use ear buds or standard headphones with a 3.5 mm jack, do I keep the speaker option as YES and when the jack is put in, it will disengage the speaker, or hit NO. I tried several of my headphones I have with a 3.5mm jack, and I am not sure if the jack is long enough and it's not engaging, or am I doing something wrong. Tried both options, and on YES, the speaker stays engaged, and when set to NO, I cannot hear anything out of the standard headphones ( tried several different ones).

I know I will use the wireless WS5 and backphones, but I would love to try some of my other standard heaphones too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The jack hole on the controller is recessed and most jacks need trimming to be inserted completely.

A great pair of headphones are called chefphones they are dark gray and reads right and a big x on the side the w4 remote will slide onto them they fit snug and keep the noise out only abt 100.$ well worth it. The 11" coil is also worth it.
