The temperature got up to 38 degrees so i garbed the X70 and headed for a local park. Muddy, muddy , muddy , my shoes got heavy with mud. I didn't find much one nickle and five pennies and a bunch of pull tabs. It didn't matter. After four hours the temperature started dropping and my hands started getting cold. Had to clean the mud off my shovel in a snow pile. It did help the cabin fever though. Also my new Grey Ghost headphones blocked out the wind rushing through the trees above me.
Now I can make it until spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because of the acidity of the water most of the pennies were corroded beyond recognition, and even nickels which are highly corrosion resistant had holes burnt half way thru them. So I came home with a pile of cull coins and pull tabs, but at least I could chase away some of that Cabin Fever. However.......tonite....another foot of snow!
