Haven't been getting out much latley , but yesterday hit a school ,,,and out in the middle of the practice football field got a Pull tab reading and dug this bracelet up. Could see 14 k on the clasp immediatly but I was sketical. Thought to myself , maybe white gold, but it just didnt look right. Very dirty and did not wipe off well.
I'm not a gold exspert ,by far ,but my first thought was correct. Its junk and is marked wrong. I think one clasp is white gold, not the one marked, and the rest is plated copper.
There must be alot of crooked jewelers in my area, because I dig something around here, marked as gold that is not, every year.:ranting:
Maybe next time???

Its probably one of them flea market "bling" items.

There is a lot of that stuff floating around found A mens ring at least 20 stones at the mall, Marked inside 14k in two places went to the guy I have sold some coins to and he said it was fake. I had a feeling that it was. The coin guy told me he gets ton of it being brought in with people trying to sell.

Yeah since we've been dealing with China and all these third world crap holes a lot of phony stuff has poured in here. They'll pirate anything, counterfeit anything, and phony up anything to make a buck.
