Hey Guys,
I took a breather today from house maintenance and went out detecting for a couple of hours. First day out in over a month. I dug about two dozen coins this morning. Clad change, a few wheat cents and one 1888 Indian head cent. Of the two dozen coins this morning I dug, guess which one got the nice DINGER Was digging clad dimes and memorial cents at 5-7 inches. The Indian was about 6 inches down. Used my Platapus coil for the first time today anyway. It pinpoints well and seems suited hunting in heavy trash. 1:24 and I ding the best coin today?

I've been lucky with my older stuff. The oldest thing I've Ric'ed so far has been a 1962-D Quarter.
To be fair though, It's been a long time since I've seen any Ric'ed coins that were actually found by Ric. Maybe it's time to find a new name for digger gouges.
It's still a keeper though
