Seems like it will be difficult to master. It does seem like a deep machine with Relic factory setting but control settings are certainly challenging. I can see how many could get discouraged at their first outing wish me luck! Bjbear

You should do fine, read the forum and take it slow you'll be finding silver in no time, good luck and happy hunting

Take your time and start out with the factory programs dont get ahead of yourself like i did.

Exactly like oneon said. Factory settings are really very good and adjusting settings without fully understanding them leads to problems. I have about 300 hrs. with the vx3 and adjustments come very easy now, but really mastering the machine will take years I'm sure as there is just so much to learn and Lot's of soils, conditions, and coils to learn. But with that being said if you make it through the first year mentally intact it becomes a lot of fun to learn it' s advanced capabilities.Just hang in there. HH

Whew, I was getting a little discourage...have a small bucket full of all kinds of nails so far...Hah

Jonny you are obviously joking cause if you had a V you wouldnt be digging nails.
